Online Career Fair

Algoma U’s Online Career Fair is available for students annually from February – June.  This gives students the opportunity to investigate part-time, full-time and summer employment with a number of employers.  Participating employers explain their HR needs and current employment opportunities.

New Graduate Transition Program

The New Graduate Transition Program offers students workshops specifically designed to meet the needs of Algoma University graduates.  Following the workshops, students gain experience working with a local employer for 3-6 weeks. Workshop include topics such as experiencing change, self-marketing, networking, resume writing, ongoing learning, employability and essential skills.

Career Planning

We assist students with a wide variety of career planning needs so that they can discover the job that’s perfect for them! From self assessments to labour market research, these offered tools are vital to gaining meaningful employment.

Career Assistance

We assist students in all aspects of the cover letter and resume writing process, and work to prepare you for an upcoming interview.

Work on Campus
