NOTE: We are currently accepting applications for Spring residence, however due to the situation created by COVID-19, residence accommodations cannot be guaranteed at this time. Please submit your application and we will forward information when available.

Apply For Residence

Before you begin your application you will need:

  • Your Algoma U student number (if you do not have an Algoma U student number, you can use your phone number to apply)
  • A valid email address

Deposits can be paid by online banking, or if you wish to make the payment by credit card contact Student Accounts at 705-949-2301, ext.4723 Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.

International students may also make bank transfers. Please contact the Coordinator of Housing to request a bank transfer form.

Due Date

The due date to apply to residence is the first Monday in June. To ensure your spot is secure make sure you apply for residence before this date. After you complete your application here you will be expected to place a $500 deposit with the Housing Office that will be deducted from your total residence fees to hold your spot in residence. A non-refundable $50 application fee also applies. The $500.00 residence deposit will not be refundable after these dates: April 1 for Spring Summer Session + August 1st for Fall Winter Session

Move in date for Spring Session is Saturday May 2nd, 2020
Move in date for Fall/Winter Session is Saturday Sept 5th, 2020
