The English department’s Algoma Reads course run by Dr. Alice Ridout will be hosting Winnie Yeung, ESL Teacher and co-author with her student, Abu Bakr Al Rabeeah. Winnie and Abu’s novel, Homes, was a finalist of 2019’s CBC Reads.
Students and staff are welcome to a social lunch break in The Globe International Lounge. We will learn some games like: Dutch Blitz, The Pencil Game, Chechers, Twister, Bananagrams Giant Jenga. If you would like, bring a game that you would like to teach others!
