Public Lecture Featuring Lindsay Wong

The English department’s Algoma Reads course run by Dr. Alice Ridout will be hosting author Lindsay Wong. Lindsay’s novel, The Woo-Woo, was a finalist of 2019’s CBC Reads and she will be giving a public lecture on Tuesday, November 26th from 5:30 pm to 7 pm in Algoma University’s Doc Brown lounge, located in room 205 of the East Wing. The event is ‘pay what you can’ and beverages will be provided. Everyone is welcome! Come out and join Algoma University in highlighting the importance of reading and celebrating Canadian writers and their incredibly moving stories.
