College and Mature Students Orientation Program (CAMSOP)
The College and Mature Students Orientation Program (CAMSOP) will run again this summer on Wednesday, August 29th, 2018. CAMSOP was created for incoming college graduates, college transfers, and mature students. The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and tools to confidently meet and exceed Algoma University’s expectations in and outside of the classroom. CAMSOP also provides you with the opportunity to meet other incoming students from similar post-secondary backgrounds.
A $15.00 voucher will be provided for lunch to be used at Morningstar cafeteria. Parking codes will also be given out in the morning, so please park in the main parking lot which is located just past the front entrance, to the left. There will be six learning sessions that take place between 9:15 am and 4:15 pm. For every session attended, one ballot will be given to enter a draw to win one of two $100.00 bookstore gift cards. The draw will take place at the end of the last session. A follow-up email will be sent with the location of the orientation and a school map.
Algoma University expects that all incoming college graduates, college transfers, and mature students will attend this orientation.
