Student Union

The Algoma University Students’ Union (AUSU) is committed to ensuring that students’ university experience is fulfilling and enjoyable. This organization is ran by students for students, and works to ensure that students’ voices are recognized amongst the Algoma U community.

As a student of Algoma University, you are a general member of the Algoma University Students’ Union. Also as a student, you are a member of the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS), Canada’s national student organization. CFS provides a lobbying voice for students, and students at CFS schools have access to a number of services, including the Student Work Abroad Programme (SWAP), the International Student Identity Card (ISIC), Student Saver, and much more.
