“I decided to take two online courses this summer to lighten my course load next semester. My classes are asynchronous, meaning I can complete my coursework on my own time without the stress of being on a tight schedule. Both online learning platforms are very easy to navigate and allow me to connect with my professors and classmates virtually. I would recommend doing the online experience to all students! ”
“Professors did their very best to teach us remotely and provide the extra help if needed; and most importantly, they would respond to my emails and concerns in a timely manner. I was able to receive the extra help from the TA’s and tutors through Google Meet and other platforms. The new learning databases (Brightspace and Moodle) were very helpful!”

“Remote learning through Algoma University is amazing. Better than I could have ever imagined. I actually did a joint group presentation with a peer all the way in India. She and I connected via Skype, email and Google Docs/Presentation to get organized and prepare the presentation. We also did a practice run through together. If anyone is second guessing not coming back for the fall, I encourage you to reconsider. Stay on track to graduate. To those wondering about school, make the decision to start your academic journey at Algoma U or Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig!”
