Study in the Heart of Downtown Brampton

The School of Business and Economics, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program provides students with a unique learning opportunity.

Our program provides students with a strong, well-rounded foundation of business management skills and concepts, partnered with the ability to apply these intellectual tools in today’s challenging and dynamic world of global business. Whether you are a domestic or international high school graduate, college or university student, this program is designed to expose you to all functional areas of management.

You will have the opportunity to differentiate your degree from others, giving you the edge needed to succeed in the highly competitive professional job market. The Algoma U BBA allows you to customize your degree to suit your interests while giving you the necessary skills and knowledge demanded by the profession of your choice.

Our students increase the value of their BBA by specializing in one of three minors: Accounting, Human Resource Management or Marketing. In addition to differentiating your degree, School of Business & Economics students can complete their degree in as little as 20 months – that’s only five semesters!

Students can also complete a Certificate in Business. The Certificate in Business is a one-year program, designed for students whose main interest is in acquiring basic knowledge and skills needed in business to enter or re-enter the workforce quickly. The Certificate in Business can be completed in as little as eight months or two semesters.

Even better, our programming is flexible. We offer both full-time and part-time study options during the day and evening. Day or night, we boast small class sizes of 20-25 students, allowing you to learn in a student-centred classroom. And you always have one-on-one access to your professor.

Aside from the unique programming opportunities, we are conveniently located in the heart of downtown Brampton. With the Brampton GO and Via station only step away, students can take the train or bus to class. We also offer underground parking with direct access to our facilities, making this School of Business & Economics at Brampton accessible.
