Borrowing Services

A wide range of audio visual equipment is available to faculty, students and staff for classroom use. Holdings include multi-media projectors, overhead projectors, tv/vcr units, slide projectors, film projectors, cassette player/recorders, etc.


 

Audio visual equipment is booked and circulated at the Circulation desk in the Wishart Library.

Bookings for equipment should be made at least 24 hours in advance, in person or by telephone.


 

In addition faculty and staff may book equipment online using their Algoma U identification at: booking.algomau.ca/audio-visual.


 

Between the hours of 8.30 am and 4.30 pm equipment must be picked up at the Circulation desk. After 4.30 pm the equipment will be delivered to the classroom but remotes and keys for the equipment permanently installed in classrooms have to be picked up at the Circulation Desk in the library.


 

Problems with audio visual equipment should be reported immediately to the Circulation desk at Ext. 4615. Repairs can only be made if staff members are aware that the equipment is not functioning properly.
