What happens outside the classroom is a huge part of the Algoma experience. Life at Algoma means being part of a community that encourages personal growth, as well as a lot of fun.

Day or night, The Speak Easy is Algoma’s hub for student dining and entertainment. You’ll enjoy activities ranging from karaoke and acoustic jam nights to all-age pub nights and live bands.

We may be the smallest university in the province, but that doesn't mean we're not big on athletics. We have a variety of men's and women's varsity teams for you to watch, play, or get involved with.

Walk across campus, join a new club, or hang out at the GLC – you’re bound to see friendly, familiar faces. When you’re miles away from home, it’s nice to know you’ve got another family you can count on.

Ready to make new friends? There are many on- and off-campus events and trips planned throughout the year. We've got ski trips, international dinners, lectures, and movie nights to keep you busy…when you're not studying, of course.
