Psychology students will study: learning, the brain and how it works, sensation, perception, child development, animal behaviour, memory, thinking and problem solving, language, emotion, motivation, psychological testing, stress and adjustment, human sexuality, personality, psychopathology, therapy, research design and statistics, education, organizational behaviour and human and social behaviour. The Psychology department involves the student actively in the learning process. Courses strengthen critical thinking, experimental design and analysis, and communication skills. The Bachelor of Science Program is recommended for those who plan to pursue graduate studies in experimental psychology or for those interested in medicine. B.Sc. students are required to take at least 36 credits in three different science subjects.

b) + 24 additional credits, of which 6 must be from Group I Humanities and from Group III Sciences.

Year II

c) + 6 credits in Psychology, upper year level
d) + 18 elective credits

Year III

b) + 15 credits in Psychology, upper year level(including at least 3 credits at the 3000 level
