Algoma U's Newest President Installed on September 18th

Inauguration Celebration to Take Place at Bondar Pavilion

(SAULT STE. MARIE, ON – September 8, 2010): Dr. Richard Myers will be installed as President of Algoma University on Saturday, September 18th. He will officially become the ninth President in the history of the institution. The Installation will commence on campus with a short, formal Investiture ceremony at the Shingwauk Chapel. A community Inauguration celebration will follow at the Roberta Bondar Park Tent Pavilion on the city’s waterfront.

The Algoma University Board of Governors extends an invitation to all those interested in attending the Inauguration at the Bondar Pavilion. The Inauguration celebration will begin at 4:00pm, with light refreshments served.
