We think Algoma offers the best scholarships in Ontario, and we work hard to ensure they're attainable

One third of our incoming students received entrance scholarships in 2010-2011
Every high school student with an entrance average over 80% is guaranteed an Algoma University Award of Excellence (see chart below for details)
You only need to maintain an 80% average to retain the Award of Excellence each year - at all levels.

AU Excellence Award: Gold	$10,000 ($2,500 X 4 years)	Unlimited	85-89% Based on top six Grade 12 U/M level courses
AU Excellence Award: Silver	$6,000 ($1,500 X 4 years)	Unlimited	80-84.9% Based on top six Grade 12 U/M level courses
