William M Hogg Math Contest
Algoma University hosts an annual Mathematics Contest for Ontario students in grades 5-12. The goal of this friendly competition is to generate and maintain interest in Mathematics while giving students the opportunity to test their skills against their peers.
The Math Contest is an exciting way to challenge and motivate your students. In 2010 over four hundred students from six Ontario school boards put their skills and knowledge on the line for great prizes and bragging rights.
Join us, in 2011, for the 34th Annual William M. Hogg Mathematics Contest!
1. REGISTRATION:
- Register your school
- Receive regular updates and stay connected
- Registration Deadline Friday, April 15th, 2011
2. PREPARATION
- Use our monthly Preparation Packages to ensure your students’ success
- Be a high scoring school and dare to prepare!
3. COMPETITION
- You will receive a complete Math Contest Package including rules the week before the contest
- This package is shipped to you so that your students can write it in your school, under your supervision. We provide prepaid shipping for your completed contests to be returned to us
