History: Program Requirements

Degree Requirement for Honours Bachelor of Arts in History (4-Year)

Year I:
a) 6 credits from among HIST 1106 E, HIST 1107 E, HIST 1206 E,
HIST 1207 E, HIST 1406 E, HIST 1407 E
b) 24 additional credits of which 6 must be from Group I (Humanities)
and 6 from Group III (Science)

Year II:
a) 6 credits from HIST 2006 E, HIST 2016 E, HIST 3006 E, or HIST 3926 E
b) 6 credits in HIST, 2000 series
c) 6 credits in HIST, 3000 series
d) 12 elective credits

Year III:
a) 18 credits in HIST, upper year
b) 12 elective credits

Year IV:
a) HIST 4055 E
b) 12 credits in HIST, 4000 series (6 must be non North American and 6 North American in focus)
c) 6 elective credits
 

TOTAL CREDITS REQUIRED: 120
