Overview

A Bachelor of Business Administration degree can provide you with many options after graduation! A number of graduates decide to complement their degree with a professional designation to increase their value to employers and to gain a greater depth of knowledge in a particular field. An example of a few accounting and finance-related professional designations include:

Chartered Accountant (CA)

Certified General Accountant (CGA)

Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM)

Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

An accounting specialization as part of your BBA studies will give you a head start on several of these designations. Many of the specialization courses are also on the required course list for these programs. Please see the appropriate organization for its exact requirements.

But don't worry if accounting or finance is not your speciality! Many BBA graduates complement their degree with additional training and certifications in human resources, marketing, project management, and more, including:
