As a student of Algoma University, you are also a member of the Algoma University Students' Union (AUSU).
The AUSU Board of Directors provides a strong voice for students, promoting their interests and needs, both within and beyond the Algoma University community.
Through the AUSU office, students have representation on most Algoma U bodies and Committees, including the Board of Governors, Senate, and numerous Senate committees, such as Academic Planning, Appeals, Curriculum, Student Services and Ethics.
Algoma University students are also members of the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS), Canada's national student organization. CFS provides a lobbying voice for students, and students at CFS member schools have access to a number of services, including the Student Work Abroad Programme (SWAP), the International Student Identity Card (ISIC), Student Saver, and mamy more. Your local CFS link is the AUSU Vice-President.
The AUSU office is now located on Level 1 in the North Wing of Shingwauk Hall, near the Bookstore.
