Our Articulation Awards of Excellence are available to students applying for a degree-completion program under an articulation agreement, after earning a 2-3 year diploma from an Ontario community college. Awards are decided using the overall average obtained by the candidate on completion of the college diploma. No application required, but some conditions may apply.

Level 1: An entrance award of $1,000 for an entering GPA of 3.7 - 4.0

Level II: An entrance award of $750 for an entering GPA of 3.0 - 3.69

Level III: An entrance award of $500 for an entering GPA of 2.5 - 2.99

Level IV: An entrance award of $250 to all candidates presenting an average of 75-79.9%.

 

Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) For Full-Time Students

To be eligible to apply for OSAP you must be enrolling in a minimum 60% courseload at Algoma University, be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, have resided in Ontario for one year prior to the start of your academic program and satisfied the admission requirements of a Canadian university or eligible post-secondary institution in Ontario.

OSAP assessments are based on an established demonstrated unmet need and funds are provided to help supplement the student's financial resources and those of their immediate family. (parental) Please keep in mind that each case is assessed on an individual basis.

How to Apply For OSAP

Use the online application on the OSAP website and ensure that you submit all required documentation including signature pages to the Financial Aid Office by the deadlines for your application to be assessed.
