Algoma University respects your educational accomplishments. If accepted into the program, your degree or diploma will be recognized with advanced credits. Algoma University's Admissions Office will review your options with you. For example, if you are a graduate of an Ontario community college, please review the chart below to see how your diploma may be recognized.

** The usual full-time course load during a fall/winter period is 30 credits

Credit recognition is decided by the Algoma University Admissions Office for each individual student based on official transcripts. Please contact brampton@algomau.ca to discuss your options.

 

Next Steps

Students granted admission with full course recognition credits for an existing degree or diploma should be able to complete the program in 20 months (five semesters). Students who will not receive the maximum number of course recognition credits will be required to complete additional courses after completion of the 20 month program.
