The Learning Centre
As an Algoma U student, you will have full access to all the resources of the on-campus Learning Centre.
Learning Centre services include:
- Tutoring. Students receive up to six hours of tutoring for each course.
- Writing Lab. A free service to help students improve their written communication skills
- Learning Strategies
- Student Success Workshops
The Special Needs Office
Students who have a documented physical disability, learning disability, or mental health disability can take advantage of services offered through the Special Needs Office. These services include:
- Intake Process
- Testing accommodations
- Learning Strategist/Assistive Technologist
- Use of Learning Centre computers
- Bursary for Students with Disabilities
